OUCH!!!!

Well, it was bound to happen sometime, Joshua's first confrontation at school. The little kid pulled out the "big guns" or should I see "big teeth, and bit Joshua! To be honest I was quite surprised that I haven't heard of any biting going on in the class from the teachers(they are toddlers, after all) before this. We will rewind just a few steps and explain how Joshua received this lovely "tattoo" from his friend. His teacher said that it happened during Art and that they were coloring to music and during a song change Joshua and his classmate decided to get new markers for the next song and I guess they wanted the same marker. The teachers heard the fussing and were walking to them when within a split second the little boy had already locked in on Joshua's arm. They said it didn't break the skin and there wasn't any blood(thank goodness), but that it was going to leave a pretty nasty mark. Joshua I am sure was in shock and pain and immediately started wailing, and wailing! They were able to put ice on it right away and put some cream on it. After some much needed TLC from the teachers, Joshua was ready to rock and roll and move on to the next activity, "Snack Time" where they had goldfish and all was forgotten by Joshua. They did correct the child that bit Joshua and they also sent a note home with the little boy and Joshua(there is only so much you can do at school). Joshua has had his shares of bumps and scrapes at school, but this can officially be deemed his first confrontation that ended with a souvenir to take with him.

The kid got him good!!

Tough little man!!
