A Freezing Good Time!

This Texas weather is crazy! One day it is 90 degrees outdside and then the next day it is in the 60s. This is pretty much how the weather was Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, we were outside soaking up the sun and Joshua was jumping through the sprinkler and then on Sunday, it was highs only in the 60's and cloudy. On Sunday, we decided to go to a sno cone stand even though it was a little on the chilly side, but we told Joshua we would take him, so we did. He was so cute when we got to the window. He got on his tip toes and asked the girl for a "bue"(blue) sno cone! She certainly came through! This is a small people and it tasted like bubble gum. Oh the boy was in heaven!! As the sno cone eating progressed on, things got a little sticky and Joshua was beginning to look like one of the men from the Blue Man Group! Everything from head to toe was turning blue, but he didn't care, he was enjoying his sno cone! At some point the spoon was put to the side and he started using his hands!! I think he was able to get more with his hands then the spoon.
Joshua ate about half of the sno cone, before we decided to call it quits! Notice I said we, as in Dan and I. Not Joshua!! He could have kept going I am sure. But his little lips were quivering and everything. I am sure you are wondering about his dress attire, but I really have no good explanation as to why he was dressed like it was 100 degrees outside. We just grabbed some clothes and went out the door. I am sure we were getting some looks, but oh well! "Joshua show me your blue tongue!" He follows directions so well!!
Then it was time to get back in the car and go home. The boy was not happy about this decision at all! He kept saying, "my sno cone, my "bue" sno cone!" Poor kid! The look on his face is priceless! He was so upset that he didn't have his "bue" sno cone and the fact that he now noticed that he was sticky and stained blue!

When we got home we went straight to the tub and washed the "blue man" right off!!
